Inner Courage LLC is a limited liability company based in Portland, Oregon and committed to “Socially Responsible Psychotherapy™."

This slogan is a reference to the profound connection between unresolved trauma, grief and the ensuing inner conflicts... and current social and environmental problems. Inner Courage LLC actively promotes the concept that each of us has a social responsibility to heal our inner conflicts and share our gifts with the world.

Once armed with some knowledge about the ongoing inner and outer effect of trauma, it is easy to see how our society's well-being depends on effective therapy for adult and child trauma. Inner Courage LLC supports the ongoing resolution of trauma and inner conflict so that more individuals would grow into their full potential ... and populate our planet with lives of “peace, passion and purpose™.” Our efforts have earned us the Green America's "Green Business Seal of Approval."

Inner Courage LLC has three current projects:

Inner Courage® the private psychotherapy practice, provides services that effectively promote change, conflict resolution and healing for individuals, couples and families. Each person who experiences healing has an opportunity to generate a wave of positive energy in their family and social connections.

The EMDR Therapist Network the second and larger project, is a website with a customized database providing education for the public about trauma and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization), a listing service for therapists who use EMDR in their therapy practices, and a (planned) listing of other licensed trauma-friendly healthcare providers. A third project, Inner Courage® Partner, is software that will be offered as a tool to enhance mental health and personal growth. Consumers can better partner with their therapists and coaches when they can track their psychosocial history, current challenges, and progress towards their goals. There will be versions for the consumer, therapists and coaches, as well as one for use in mandated treatment programs.

Born out of a personal (and ongoing) journey of healing and self-awareness, and years of work with clients, Inner Courage® is my gift to the world. Won't you join me in sharing yours?
